I've been wanting to update for probably almost two weeks.

My health has continued to stay steady, which I'm so thankful for. Two weeks ago, I was able to go from dialysis 3 days a week, down to two days a week. And just yesterday, my doctor called and said it was my last day of dialysis. So now the real test begins - we will see how well my kidneys function without dialysis completely. I'm hoping things continue to be stable.

However, I must have pulled a muscle of some sort. My hip has been in some pain the last week and a half. Not sure if I pulled it while running, or if I did something odd at the wedding we went to on February 23rd. We danced quite a bit at the wedding, so I wouldn't be too surprised lol. I swear the pain come and goes, which is quite annoying - there are times where I limp while walking as the pain is so bad. Sucks, but I'm getting through it.

Matt is out of town again this week. Of course it had to snow quite a bit! It started snowing yesterday in the morning, which really wasn't bad. But it snowed again last night & we ended up getting 6-8 inches. Needless to say, I'm having my father come over to snowblow my driveway. Thank goodness for being able to work from home!

I've been quite busy with the wedding plans lately. Last week, I met with a florist. That was and will be probably the hardest decision that I had to make. There's just too many choices and colors, etc etc. I ended up picking a few different roses, gerber daisies, and carnations. I'm really excited to see how they'll turn out. She hasn't gotten me an estimate, but I know it's going to be a pretty penny. I need to figure out what I want to do with the centerpieces. There's so many to look at, and pinterest helps but also makes it more difficult lol. Also last week, I had my sister try on her bridesmaid dress and it looks wonderful. My flower girl (my cousin's kid) was in town, so she met us there as well.

Hope you're all doing well. Time to catch up on your entries.

It's been an extremely busy week.

I got some really good news on Monday, at dialysis. The doctor said my creatinine level (which is the level they are closely watching) came down quite a bit in the last week. When I started dialysis, my level was just over 4 - it should be under 1, with how small I am. The middle of last week, my level was down to 2.35. The goal is to see it in the 1's & then they can start evaluating how often dialysis is needed. Right now, I have it 3 days a week for 3 hours each. So on Monday, they did labs again. My doc said if the level was in the 1's, I could skip dialysis on Friday. I went to another doctor (GI) on Tuesday & had labs done that day as well. I got those results back and my level was at 1.85. I was in tears when I got that result back. I was absolutely excited to see things turning around - and the fact that I was able to skip dialysis on Friday.

As part of transplant, apparently they needed an updated ~girl appointment~. So on Wednesday morning, I got to go have a pap smear done. Oh how those are so lovely lol. No, but honestly it wasn't bad - even if I had my first GUY-ob/gyn doctor. It always makes me wonder how a man would choose to go into that type of study (ie. oO let's study the female organs, even though I don't have any myself Oo).

Thursday and Friday were ~finally full days at the office.
For the past couple of months, I've been thinking about joining a gym. I've wanted to try a zumba class.. but I wasn't sure about truly joining a gym. On Friday, I was talking with this girl at work and she was talking about the club she's a member at. I knew beforehand that some places will charge extra if you want to do any classes. She told me how with this one, everything is included. After work on Friday, I ended up visiting one of them. Another nice thing about this gym is that there are different locations, and you can go to any of them. I ended up really enjoying the place. I've usually been one to stay away from joining a gym, especially when I think people like it to just stare at you and possibly come off as arrogant. While visiting this gym, I didn't really feel that at all. Everyone definitely seemed more focused on themselves - thankfully. Well, I did end up joining the gym during my visit.

I went to the gym this morning and did a bunch of arm routines and did some running. I am finally going to get back into running. I have about 5 months until that wedding - I am determined to look ah-maz-ing lol.

Ever since I got out of the hospital, I have had an incredible amount of ambition - it's almost too much lol. What I'm going to struggle with now is how to fit it all in during the day. With working all day, having dialysis, having an insane amount of appointment, going to the gym, making dinner at home - it could be a struggle at first, getting on a good solid schedule. But I have enough ambition, that I know I'm able to get everything done.
